We admit it — when Figleaves UK launched their exclusive budget lingerie line Just Peachy, we were a little skeptical. A tee-shirt bra for £6? A larger-cup bra (up to 38G) for just £10? Surely a bra couldn’t be a good quality for that price, especially for larger sizes. We had to see this for ourselves, so I ordered the £10 bra in 36G.
The bra arrived today and we’ve got to say - we’re impressed! The fabric is strong and supportive, the stitching is solid, the lace isn’t scratchy and the bra fit is pretty good. Best of all, it looks great - for the larger-cup line they’ve used a flattering adapted balconette style (pictured above left) that gives good shape and stays hidden in low-cut tops. Our only niggle is with the tight band - the sizing is pretty snug, so if you’re normally a 36 i’d try a 38 first.

Just Peachy’s lines are available in a sensible black, tan and white, and include matching briefs and shortys. It’s a shame that this line isn’t available at FIgleaves US - while it’s fantastic to have a budget option for women in Great Britain, this line would be a god-send for American women used to paying $60-$100 for a good larger-cup bra. We’re checking with Figleaves to find out if the line is making its way to the States, but in the meantime, U.S. readers can still order the bra with £4 delivery, bringing the grand total to about $28, a fair sight cheaper than normal!
Lines like Just Peachy prove that “budget” lingerie doesn’t have to ignore larger sizes and proper fit - a breath of fresh air in a market dominated by A-D cup sizes. With just four bras and two briefs, Just Peachy have offered an affordable solution for a huge variety of women, giving them one less thing to worry about. We couldn’t be more delighted. Why didn’t you review the bra?
First impressions are all very good, but we’re not quite ready to call the verdict on this bra - with a “disposable” price like £10, is the bras disposable too? Before we do a proper review, we’re going to give the bra a prolonged road-test to see how it holds up over time - we find a good bra normally lasts for about five months, so let’s see how this one fares after just two. We’ll report back our findings here at Knickers.
