We are happy to announce the launch of Vannina Vesperini’s new and improved website!
A few weeks back we mentioned having seen the new Fall 2007 collection, and now you can preview it online!
Attached are 2 images from her new campaign, with amazing photographs featuring French actress Roxane Mesquida and photographed by famed photographer Sonia Sieff.
One of our favorite pieces from the group (which we ordered for ourselves!) is shown in the ‘Press’ section under the WWD article. It’s the gorgeous silk chiffon leopard night dress that will make your jaw drop - you need to see it in person; the way it flows and drapes when you move. Another favorite is shown in the 
very amateur photo below…the peach satin silk gown. It’s also stunning, and comes with a removable pearl brooch. We have more personal photos of the collection, and will post more in the up-coming months (we don’t want to spoil all of the surprises!).
We would like to proudly mention that Faire Frou Frou is one of the first U.S. boutiques to carry the line (we started ordering from Vannina before we opened in 2003).

We finally received our copy of “Shop Scouting Worldwide The Book” (whew, long title!), and our favorite section of the book are pgs 140-141 which feature Faire Frou Frou!!
Faire Frou Frou was selected as one of the Best of Intima (Best European Flair) boutiques for 2006-2007, and if that honor was not enough, we were selected to be part of the Shop Scouting Worldwide hardcover book.
In addition to our 2-page spread, there are 99 other lingerie boutiques from around the world featured in the book. The book is broken down by category: Concept lingerie store, Reference Shop, Personal Touch Shop (that’s us!), and Brand Name Shop (such as Madame V and Chantal Thomass).
This is a great book, particularly for those looking to open up their own boutique…you can learn from the best in the business!
This special edition 200-page book is currently available for sale, and can be purchased directly from the publisher in Milan at www.networkdessous.com. We believe the book is priced at either $45 or 45 euros… The book is translated into English, Italian and French!

a 21 inch waistcincher over my newest minidress! quite a difference between these corset-outfit and my ballcorset-pix of the last posting ;-).
but, when trying on this very short denim minidress i just couldn’t resist to try a corset over it. although the dress looks already amazing without a corset, with this black waistcincher it looks even more sexy. with its very tight fit it’s really made to be worn under a corset.
on these corset pics you can see my 21 inch waist quite good against the light. until now it’s not the right weather to wear such a mini corset-outfit outside, but it’s getting summer soon….

As most people surmised, Anna Nicole Smith lost her life due to an overdose of prescription drugs.
Seminole tribal police Chief Charlie Tiger stated on Monday that former reality TV star and Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith lost her life due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. Chief Tiger said that the case is now closed.
Chief Tiger said that investigators are convinced based on an extensive review of the evidence, that this case is an accidental overdose with no other criminal element present.
Howard K. Stern’s attorney, Lilly Ann Sanchez read a statement from Stern on Monday afternoon stating that the death was a tragic accident and that at no time was there any indication of any wrongdoing in any way. Sanchez went on to say that it was a horrible, painful and tragic accident, but it was truly an accident. Some have speculated that Stern may have had some part in the death of Smith and that a criminal investigation should find him in some way culpable, but Chief Tiger said that there is no indication of Smith’s death being anything other than an accident.
Smith was found unconscious and unresponsive February 8 in a room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood, Florida. She was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Elle Machpherson Intimates Skin Lights collection also has a great molded cup bra that comes in both a low plunge contour style, and a convertible strap style. The convertible style comes up to a DD cup, which is a first for Faire Frou Frou (finally!).
The Cosabella Stella Push-Up Bra is another great basic, but with a touch of style with its soft lace trim on the cups. It’s those small touches that can really make a bra great!
